Overall reported sales in Perth increased six per cent to 678 sales this week, up from 641 last week.
This increase can be attributed to a three per cent lift in house sales and a 44 per cent increase in land sales, while unit sales were unchanged.
The number of listings for sale in the Perth metro area lifted one per cent to 15,375 this week, from 15,189 last week.
In terms of composition, houses and units were unchanged in percentage terms from last week, but land listings increased seven per cent.
This week’s listing figure is three per cent higher than four weeks ago and 13 per cent higher than the same time last year.
Looking to Perth’s rental market now and REIWA members reported a one per cent decline in the number of properties available to rent, falling from 9,813 last week to 9,736 this week.
This is four per cent lower than four weeks ago and 56 per cent higher than the same time last year.
